Position Title: Security Officer

Department: Operations

The Tampa Museum of Art is looking to fill several full time and part time Security Officer positions at our new facility. Security personnel are responsible for protecting museum staff and artworks using current operating procedures. Duties include guarding against theft, violence, or infractions of rules,  recording daily activities and property damage, and escorting or reporting unauthorized personnel.

Qualified applicants must have at least 1 year minimum of verifiable security guard experience, and a current Florida Class D- Unarmed Security Guard- license.

These positions are paid by the hour. Scheduling will be discussed with the hiring manager, as security must be present at the museum all days of the week.
