Volunteer Opportunities

The Tampa Museum of Art receives tremendous support for programs and events as well as departmental assistance from its volunteer corps. Dedicated community volunteers support the museum and its mission by contributing thousands of hours each year. There are many volunteer programs available at TMA.

Be A Friend

Friends of the Arts (FOTA) has changed!

The volunteer core group formerly known as Friends of the Arts (FOTA) has changed its name! Newly named, 'Friends' was created to promote and support the Tampa Museum of Art through volunteer efforts. 'Friends' also hosts and assists with special events to raise funds for educational programs and acquisitions. Now, for $25 added to your membership, you can be a 'Friend'. Pride and Passion

Steering Committee

The Pride & Passion Steering Committee, chaired by Scott Moore, is planning this annual event to celebrate diversity in our community. Pride & Passion will kick off Gay Pride month on May 21, 2010, and feature live entertainment and fabulous food from Bern's and Sidebern's. Gasparilla Arts Festival

March 6 - 7, 2010

The Raymond James Gasparilla Festival of the Arts celebrates its 40th year this weekend, March 6 and 7, 2010. Free admission! Gallery hours will be from 11am-5pm, with eco-friendly activities in the park from 10am-4pm.

Join the festivities in Curtis Hixon Park! The Tampa Museum of Art will host its annual Children's Activity Tent with eco-friendly activities. Explore different processes and mechanisms while interacting with local demonstrating artists. The Children's Activity Tent will be located at the east end of the new Tampa Museum of Art.
