Artists' Proposals
The Tampa Museum of Art accepts artists’ proposals for individual or group exhibitions. Following a review of the submitted proposal, a letter is sent to the primary contact indicating the intention of the museum. The Museum is pleased to receive exhibition proposals as part of its ongoing commitment to support the visual arts. Proposals are reviewed at the discretion of the museum's programming department.
If a self–addressed stamped envelope is provided with a submission, materials will be returned to the sender. Otherwise, the museum holds the right to keep materials for future consideration.
Please include the following with your submission:
1) Letter of intent with contact information
2) Artist(s) CV or resume
3) Artist(s) statement
4) Exhibition checklist with images (digital images preferred) that include the following information:
*Artist (Nationality, birth year)
*Title of Artwork, Date
*Medium
*Dimensions
5) Exhibition budget
6) Proposed duration and square footage requirements
7) Other or special requirements, i.e. AV equipment needs, etc.
8) Self-addressed stamped envelope for return of materials
